IBSystems, Inc. Design Automation Portal Network Passes 2,000,000 Page View Mark

CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2002--IBSystems, a leading provider of web portals and virtual trade shows, announced that monthly readership of its targeted design automation portal network is now 2,025,000 page views. The portals, which cover the EDA, MCAD, GIS, PCB, and AEC industries, now serve more than 340,000 unique visitors each month.

Every day more than 150,000 issues of CafeNews are sent to professionals in each industry, and beginning September 22, 2002 more than 70,000 subscribers will begin receiving online week-in-review magazines on their desktops each Monday morning.

David Heller, IBSystems' President said, "Our first portal back in 1995, was DACafe.com (Design Automation Cafe). DACafe was an umbrella site that provided resources for the EDA, MCAD and GIS industries. In 1998 we made the strategic decision to create separate portals for each industry. This paradigm shift has allowed us to laser in on the needs of CAD professionals in each industry. We've also expanded our network to include Printed Circuit Board design (PCB) and Architectural Engineering (AEC), and have built a very successful careers site, www.CareersCafe.com, that offers targeted job opportunities in each industry."

Sanjay Gangal, IBSystems' VP of Marketing said, "The response to our targeted approach by both visitors and sponsors has been excellent. We actively listen and constantly fine-tune our model to better serve our audience. We're very pro-active and continually add new products. This year we launched our virtual trade shows to meet the reality of reduced travel and budgets. Our VirtualDACafe and VirtualBIUC (for Bentley Systems) shows were real winners, and we are now actively promoting three more shows: VirtualMCAD (October 15, 2002), VirtualGISCafe (February 4, 2003) and VirualDACafe Spring 2003, February 11th.
